A journey to experience the magic of Christmas in Friuli Venezia Giulia, among fairy-tale landscapes, nature and folklore.
We will leave from the picturesque village of Nimis, home of Ramandolo wine which we will taste in a local winery.
We will continue our adventure reaching the enchanting Malborghetto and Chiusaforte, the village of waterfalls, where we will be enchanted by the beauty of spectacular games and cascades.
In Pontebba we will visit the Christmas markets and, at nightfall, we will await the arrival of Krampus, demonic goat-men.
Led by an hiking guide, we will explore some of the most spectacular lakes of Friuli Venezia Giulia: the Fusine and Predil Lakes.
At Cave del Predil we will visit one of the most important European lead and zinc mines, active until 1990, making a real journey into the heart of the earth to discover minerals, extraction techniques, but above all to understand the efforts of thousands of miners who they have worked for centuries inside its bowels.

Check in
San Dona’ di Piave (VE) meeting at 9:00 am, departure at 9:15 am. Portogruaro (VE) meeting at 9:45 am, departure at 10:00 am. The meeting point will be indicated in the booking confirmation. The return is scheduled at 3.45 pm in Portogruaro, at 4.45 pm in San Dona’ di Piave.
Our tour operator can arrange your transfer to San Dona’ di Piave and Portogruaro as an additional service.

Welcome to Friuli Venezia Giulia! We will leave for Nimis, home of Ramandolo, where we will savor the nuances of this and other local wines with a tasting. In the afternoon we will arrive in Malborghetto. Here a simple guided hike through the woods will allow us to admire fairy-tale landscapes (2 Km). We will enjoy dinner in a typical restaurant. In the evening we will reach a characteristic hotel immersed in the greenery of the forest. Overnight.
Included: private transfers, tour leader, five wines tasting accompanied by typical products, excursion with hiking guide in Malborghetto, dinner, overnight stay in a double room in a hotel***.
After breakfast we will reach the Fusine lakes, where the turquoise of the water mixes with the green of the woods and the blue of the sky. Led by an hiking guide we will discover these real masterpieces of nature (6 Km, 100 m difference in altitude). Free time and lunch in Tarvisio. In the afternoon, an easy walk will take us along a stretch of Alpe Adria (4.5 Km, zero difference in altitude). We will return to the hotel, typical dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast we will arrive in Chiusaforte. Here we will be enchanted by the beauty of spectacular waterfalls that we will reach led by an hiking guide. Lunch and free time. In the afternoon return to the hotel and free time. Typical dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, free time to explore Valbruna. In the late morning we will reach Pontebba. Lunch and free time to visit the city and the Christmas markets. In the afternoon, as per tradition, we will wait for the Krampus, infernal creatures that will populate the streets of the town.
Included: breakfast, private transfers, tour leader, visit to Christmas markets, traditional parade of the Krampus, dinner, overnight stay in a double room in a hotel***.
After breakfast, a guided tour of the mining museum of Cave del Predil will let us know a slice of life of the past. Free lunch. We will then arrive at the Predil lake where, thanks to a simple walk with an hiking guide, we will admire this enchanting body of water from various angles. We will then return to Portogruaro and San Dona’ di Piave.
Included: breakfast, private transfers, tour leader, excursion to the Predil lake with an hiking guide, entrance ticket and guided tour to the mining museum of Cave del Predil.

HOW TO BOOK
Deposit: € 100 to be paid at the time of booking.
The reservation must be made using the BOOK button on this page, no later than 30 days from the start of the trip, after reading and accepting the Regulations of the activities, the Anticovid Measures and the Conditions of Sale.
The online procedure is illustrated here. In case of difficulty, it is possible to make a bank transfer as indicated here and send name, surname, address, telephone, email, social security number, chosen trip and copy of the accountant via email to hello@beescover.com or WhatsApp to 324 546 1686.
Final payment: no later than 30 days before departure by bank transfer. For registrations over 30 days before departure, the full fee must be paid. A refund will be made if the trip is canceled due to the failure to reach the minimum number of six participants. The activity can be carried out in two shifts based on the number of participants and information will be communicated as soon as it is available.
Traveler’s withdrawal:
– withdrawal up to 30 days before the start of the trip: withholding of the deposit;
– withdrawal from 29 to 15 days before the start of the trip: 75% of the total amount;
– withdrawal from 14 to 0 days before the start of the trip: 100% of the total amount.
We ask you to report any food allergies and/or intolerances immediately after booking. The itinerary may undergo some changes before and/or during the trip also due to the weather forecast and/or to ensure the safety of the participants.The overnight stay is intended in double rooms with people of the same gender. The combinations will be made by our team except for special requests for sharing which must be reported.

ENTRY INTO THE COUNTRY
A passport or valid identity card is required for expatriation. The country is part of the EU and adheres to the Schengen agreement, therefore an entry visa is not required.
