SANT’ERASMO ISLAND, THE GARDEN OF VENICE
Visit hidden corners and get to know the cultural, historical and artistic heritage
We will discover Sant’Erasmo island which, for its agricultural vocation, has been called the “Garden of Venice” since the times of the Serenissima.
We will visit the Maximilian Tower, a circular structure built between 1843 and 1844, and a farm where we will learn all the secrets of Sant’Erasmo violet artichoke.
Along the way we will deepen the naturalistic, cultural and historical aspects of the island.
A dip in this green oasis that will allow us to immerse ourselves in a real slice of life in the lagoon between nature, ancient traditions and authentic flavors.

• Location: Sant’Erasmo Island (VE). The meeting point will be indicated in the booking confirmation.
Easy. 7.5 km route suitable for participants aged 6 and over.
Packet lunch, comfortable clothes, possibly in layers, waterproof jacket, trekking or sports shoes, at least 1 liter of water per person.
€ 25 for adults. € 20 for children aged 6 to 14.
Accompaniment with hiking guide, visit to the farm with in-depth explanation on Sant’Erasmo violet artichoke, entrance and guided tour of the Massimiliana Tower.

Reservation is mandatory and must be made via the BOOK button at the top of the page, no later than 72 hours from the start of the event, after having read and accepted the Activity Rules, the Covid Prevention Measures and the Terms and Conditions.

Postponement and cancellation
The organization reserves the right to postpone or cancel the event in consideration of the weather updates of the previous day, notifying it by 14.00 for morning activities and by 18.00 for afternoon activities. In the absence of communications, the event is considered confirmed. The itinerary may vary in relation to weather and environmental conditions, as well as for any reason related to the safety of the participants.
The organization also reserves the right to postpone or cancel the event if the minimum number of participants is not reached, notifying it up to 24 hours before the scheduled start. In the absence of communications, the event is considered confirmed.
The participant can renounce a booked activity, by giving written notice to firstname.lastname@example.org, up to 72 hours from the beginning of the same.
In case of postponement, cancellation or renunciation, within the terms described above, a refund is foreseen, which will be made, at the choice of the applicant, in the form of a voucher or in currency.
The voucher can be used for the purchase of services of equal value.
The currency is credited with the same method used for the purchase, net of the payment platform fees (1.4% + € 0.35), within 15 working days from the date of receipt of the request.
