Osteria ai Pioppi is located in Nervesa della Battaglia, on the hills of Montello. Bruno Ferrin and Marisa Zaghis, owners since more than 45 years, will welcome you, offering tasty dishes of the Venetian tradition. In addition to great food, Osteria ai Pioppi offers the possibility to make an unusual after lunch! In fact, next to the tavern, there is an unusual luna park that includes over forty attractions built completely by hand and operated without the use of electric energy.
Osteria ai Pioppi is located in Nervesa della Battaglia, on the hills of Montello. Bruno Ferrin and Marisa Zaghis, owners since more than 45 years, will welcome you, offering tasty dishes of the Venetian tradition: you will have the embarrassment of the choice between pork and salted codfish, snails, chicken and baked cheese, cornmeal mush and homemade cakes. Absolutely to taste Caffé ai Pioppi, prepared with a secret recipe.
There are many places to sit indoor and outside in the shade of the poplars. It is a self-service tavern: you pay at the cashier, you receive the tickets with the orders and you withdraw your tray at the counter.
In addition to great food, Osteria ai Pioppi offers the possibility to make an unusual after lunch! In fact, next to the tavern, there is an unusual luna park, created by the owner Bruno. It includes over forty attractions built completely by hand and operated without the use of electric energy: from the three lanes slide to the Vitruvian man, from Tarzan to the trampoline. In short, nowadays, at Osteria ai Pioppi, food and fun have become a perfect combination!

Bruno Ferrin and Marisa Zaghis: “We are the founders and owners of the Osteria since more than 45 years. The tavern dates back to 1969, when we decided to create a food court with sausages, wine, a grill, a few tables and a swing. One day, I asked the blacksmith of the village to build some hooks for hanging the sausages to the trees. He said that I would have to do it myself, not having time to lose for these small things and showed me the welding torch. From then on, I discovered a great pleasure in doing things alone and I developed a passion for the construction of carousels in iron. Now the attractions are almost forty.”
