Navigate quietly to discover the lagoon of Caorle and the charmful fishermen’s island from a completely new, more authentic and evocative point of view, discovering hidden corners, approaching aquatic animals without disturbing them, on board of a typical lagoon boat. These are the ingredients of the unmissable experience with the “Bragozzo La Serenissima”!
The Bragozzo is a traditional lagoon boat that Adriatic fishermen have used during the era of the Venetian Republic and until the mid-twentieth century for fishing and transportation in the lagoon and today remain very few examples…
Due to its small size and particular conformation, differently to other boats, it’s able to navigate nimbly on shallow and insidious lagoon waters allowing us to explore places of the Venetian lagoon otherwise inaccessible.
During the excursion it’s planned a stop at the picturesque Fishermen’s Island, also called Falconera Island, to explore some of its most striking views, surrounded by the green vegetation and the historicity of a place where time seems to have stopped.
You will also be able to enter and visit a traditional and authentic casone, the typical island fisherman’s house and discover more closely the Venetian fishermen’s objects, uses and habits.
The shallow, quite waters of the lagoon are suitable for unforgettable experience with family or friends to relax and have fun and you will see the fishermen’s island under a new light.
